How does New Year’s Eve work?
We look forward to welcoming you from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at ScanHotels Stadthafen. There, you’ll take your seat at festively set tables and receive your New Year’s Eve wristband—which entitles you to enjoy the buffet and your choice of beverages (non-alcoholic drinks, house wine, house sparkling wine, beer, selected long drinks, and aperitifs). Additional drinks not included in the New Year’s Eve ticket are available at our bar.
The dance floor and bar will be open from the very start. You can dance here, linger there, and return to your seat whenever you like.
At midnight, we’ll raise a glass of sparkling wine together on our rooftop terrace and enjoy the sparkle of the fireworks in the night sky!
For a little something to eat, we’ll be serving a midnight snack featuring sweet and savory treats at the STRANDE Restaurant at 12:15 a.m. From 1:30 a.m. to 3 :00 a.m., we’ll be wrapping up New Year’s Eve.
Where will we sit?
We’ll seat you with other guests at our tables. In doing so, we make sure
that, for example, we seat couples with other couples and “small” groups with other “small” groups at the tables.
Is there a dance floor?
Yes! Our DJs will keep the party going on the dance floor all night long on New Year’s Eve.
Is there a midnight buffet?
Naturally. At 00.15 we serve a midnight snack with sweet and savory delicacies – in proper style, atmospheric and of course with Berlin pancakes, as it should be in the north.
What is the dress code?
Dress as you feel comfortable – and enjoy casual elegance. For ladies, we recommend cocktail dresses, trouser suits or stylish combinations. Evening dresses are also welcome. Gentlemen wear chinos, jackets and shirts – with or without a tie.
Are children welcome?
Yes, we’d be happy to—we celebrate New Year’s Eve with guests of all ages. Please note that separate tickets are required for children. We’d be happy to advise you personally on the right room category by calling T: 0381 3750 1
Can we participate without a room reservation?
It is also possible to visit our New Year’s Eve event without an overnight stay.
You can easily purchase tickets via our store.
Can I set off my own fireworks?
There is plenty of space outside the hotel for your own rockets. We are happy to provide you with champagne bottles as a launch pad. Please observe the applicable local regulations for the setting off of fireworks.
